The
plans to expand the church have undergone a number of changes since the
original launching of the project. We have first constructed a building
in the pattern and style of an old-style Caymanian house to the north
of the church, for the purpose of addressing the need for Sunday School
space as well as for some homework schooling and other educational
projects, and for other meetings. This single-room building is now in
frequent use. The second major phase of expansion is the construction
of a new church at the northern end of the property. The existing
church building will remain substantially as it is now though with some
upgrading of its facilities, and will be used as a church hall after we
have moved in to the new church. Your continued prayers and financial
or other contributions to the project are most sincerely appreciated. Following
an extended period of consultation it is expected that the final draft
of the plans will shortly be made available. Soon afterwards, the slab
for the new building is expected to be laid.
